Question about having email address on a personal domain:

How do you accomplish that?

Especially I am interested if someone tried somehow combining several options to achieve redundancy if your system goes down. (For example, use yourdomain.tld to point to 3rd party email provider and use mail.yourdomain.tld for self-hosted mail server)

It's the same tale as with every other service, online or not. Someone will pour shitton of money and resource to make their thing as most appealing and pretty and cool looking as possible. And when the majority of userbase is theirs, they will use it for profit in most unethical way possible.

The web is terrible already, but at least we can try to slow down the enshittification process.
