Somebody (that would be Brady) has decided that he likes to watch Ghost Hunters. I can only think that it's the flashlights moving around in a darkened screen. But he'll lay/sit there fixated on it. His eyes would even move as the figures on the screen moved. So now we can add Ghost Hunters to his fascination with Too Cute (only the kittens). #Caturday #CatsOfMastodon Well, I had a comfortable nap ... had to, Brady had me trapped ... #caturday #CatsOfMastodon The building had a bug infestation, so I had to box stuff up, then put my clothes in garbage bags in the bathtub. This was Brady right before I put him in the carrier to stay at the vet all day. I'm slow getting it all back, a bag a day. Brady has decided that it's his bed and have claimed the last 2 in the tub. I hate to take it away from him, but I need to shower. LOL #CatsOfMastodon #caturday #Cats Happy Caturday - we (the cat & myself) want to wish you a purrfect day! I'm not going to get into the long story as to why there are black garbage bags, filled with my clothes, in my bathtub ... After ignoring it for months ... & running out of boxes ... Brady has finally accepted his new bed. #Caturday Brady loves to toss his toys way up into the air ... I mean waaaaaaay up. So this morning while getting my coffee ready I looked over & saw this ... I don't know why this tickles me so much ... #Caturday #Cat #CatsOfMastodon Brady says "Happy Caturday" ... you can't tell because he's asleep, but he really does say that .... Brady decided to try the top "bed" or "perch" of his new cat tree ... I guess the tree is a success ... Brady really loves my electric throw in this single digit weather. That "life expectancy" statistic that went up over the last couple of hundred years? That is from people taking their doctors' advice. Including the advice to get vaccinated.
The lower life expectancy from before is due to, you know, people dying younger.
Relevance of vaccination. And statistics.
Nature by itself doesn't deserve any respect. The reason we care about the environment is because we need it to sustain our own life, not because "the nature is good" somehow. The nature itself just happens, it doesn't give a shit about things like climate change or pandemics. So it follows, then, that the only aspects of nature that make sense to be respected are the ones that help us, humans, live better.
