@Gargron I always keep a peppermint Luna bar in my backpack for such emergencies. Just good enough to satisfy; just mundane enough I leave it there until I need it. #perfectlyadequate

@Gargron Easy copy/edit to my account name/paste in my webpage way to show my latest 3 toots. Easy = usable by folks with most basic of HTML skills & should work on hosted services like Wordpress.com.

The best way for me to bring people to Mastodon is to give them a window into what I'm doing there.

Nice to have:- editable config to show 1-10 latest toots- optional "Join me on Mastodon!" footer on the widget which links to joinmastodon.org (even nicer: and has my instance featured first)
