Every once in a while, I catch Bruno chilling next to his portrait, but every time I reach for my phone he splits. Today he decided to stick around long enough to get this. The portrait was finger painted in ink by my daughter for a school art project. My wife and daughter went wildflower picking and as soon as they came in the door, Bruno wanted to see and smell them. #Caturday #cats #catsofmastodon Bruno doesnāt get out much. Largely because heās jumpy AF. But today my wife and I were sitting outside and he wouldnāt stop crying and pawing at the door to join us. Today, was a breakthrough. I have never seen him this chill before. Bruno watched intently from a distance, while I took a break from playing Xbox to make a cat-sized pillow fort next to me on the couch. He took his time inspecting my craftsmanship, but it ultimately passed his home inspection and he settled in for an afternoon nap. My wife getting some unsolicited advice from Bruno on how to win our game of Dice Throne. Or heās just wondering if heāll get in trouble if he smacks the dice off the table. Here it is. My first ever post on Mastodon. I wanted to make sure I got off on the right foot here, so Iām including a āCat Picā as my offering to the Social Media Gods. We shall see if they are appeased. @MrFarland I am lucky that my 2 old girls are so old that they aren't ambitious enough to climb the tree. |
