Remembering my Dad today, on what would have been his 113th birthday. He loved gardening, the outdoors, fishing (note the hand-tied flies), hunting, and people. He was a minister for many years on the Crow Reservation. He had a lovely tenor singing voice and enjoyed creating art. As his arthritis worsened, he couldn't build or paint, so he turned to ceramic classes. I'm pleased that many of his interests have passed down to me and my two children. I forgot alt text: the photo is a shadow box with my dad's birth certificate, hand tied fishing flies, assorted pictures of him primarily black and white from his younger years, one picture of him holding my son. A small black book with readings for weddings and baptisms Etc, and an old pocket knife in belt buckle of his. |
