PSA: #Patreon just announced they're changing their privacy policy to default all of your account info, who you support, etc. to public. You need to go into the settings and disable that. (Check the two toggles at the bottom of the Settings page to off.) And then send Patreon a nasty letter, because default-open is just a stupid model to begin with, period.

@Crell Huh, I don't see this... What's your source? I just see one toggle on the settings page. It says "Private Profile" and it's set to on for both my patron and creator profiles. Which means my pledges will be hidden from the public â how it's always been. The only other thing on that page is my email, which I cropped out. Maybe it's different on desktop?  I'm guessing that this only applies to people who have a Patreon site and have subscribers and not the subscribers themselves? I will not touch Patreon after the first data breach. I tried to delete my account, which required me to register with a third-party...who would "process your request in 5-15 days". I mentioned the bad experience on social media and got brigaded by their employees who blamed the third-party, me, the system, their advertisers, etc. After a bit, they admitted that they had no idea who they'd given my data to. Sorry creators, I don't do Patreon.
