We need password managers, that doesn't require entering passwords to add a new entry. Why? Usability.

It must be as easy and fast as possible to use it. Most people won't use reliable password managers because thay are hard to manage. And especially adding new keys.

If password managers remain as they are, many people would rather use Telegram notes or so, because they can paste password in just a few clicks.

I'm sure modern encryption algorithms should allow some sort of asymetric encryption for these cases.

@yura Doesn't at least Bitwarden and KeePassXC allow to add entries without reentering password as long as you have already unlocked them, if I understand what you are talking about correctly?

I didn't even heard about manager that requires password input on every change of database, actually, at least not mandatory
