Upgrades includes among others: - Rust 1.78 https://www.alpinelinux.org/posts/Alpine-3.20.0-released.html Thanks to all the contributors who worked hard on getting this release out!  @alpinelinux re: yq change, unless I'm missing something aliases/metapackages don't show up in the pkgs search site or using "apk search", you have to go look at the APKBUILD file of the thing it's an alias to, which kind of defeats the point. Is there actually a way to tell that a "yq" package exists and what it actually links to, other than already knowing it? Alpine Linux is not affected by CVE-2024-3094 (backdoor in upstream xz/liblzma leading to ssh server compromise). Update on the grub situation on Alpine Linux: https://gitlab.alpinelinux.org/alpine/aports/-/merge_requests/60910 has landed, which removes the problematic part of the configuration that resulted in grub crashing / restarting. @alpinelinux hah, just today i hit it when upgrading from 3.19 to edge XD Alpine Linux 3.19.0 Released We are pleased to announce the release of Alpine Linux 3.19.0, the first in the v3.19 stable series. The patched version (p.7_p1-r4) on 3.20 need it too?
@alpinelinux I didn't even manage to restart, after binary update ssh connection just stalled, terminating it of course led to inability to connect. so only powercycle.
