Why do Fediverse actors even have different keys? They should all have the same key for the whole server. Since the server controls their full identity anyway. It's dumb.

I'm considering patching the bridge with this. Not sure what it would break federation-wise.

@alex I hate rustup. But otherwise Rust feels like a real breakthrough and I don't want to use anything else anymore. Even for frontend development, although frameworks that exist today look immature, I think I'll wait a couple of years before switching. JSR is the most inspiring thing in web development right now. The people behind Deno are absolutely genius. https://jsr.io/
You have to appreciate the npm-inspired pixelated logo. The 3D shapes you can click to create on the homepage. The utter simplicity of the project. It looks like it was not too difficult for them to create. The best kind of genius. Social media platforms are inherently self-destructive. Decentralization is inevitable.
Nostr is like each user having their own server. There are downsides, such as high bandwidth and disk usage. But since each user has their own database, they can do custom feeds in a simple/scalable way.
Why is npm performance still unacceptable in 2024? Why don't they just delete npm from existence and ship a different default option.
This is so much better than NPM it's insane. 😂 God I love Deno. https://jsr.io/@soapbox/nspec
JSR is groundbreaking. I'm finally dumping some useful libraries that were too hard to get on NPM: https://jsr.io/@soapbox
Installing Ditto will be 2 commands in bash. Compared to the whole 20 minute install guide of Mastodon/Pleroma/etc. It's crazy how much simpler it is.
