This group of buildings is quite close to where we live in Ōmori, Tokyo. And on certain days, it looks amazing.

And on those days, one of the group looks just like a strip of film.

Green Edition: A collaboration with @stevenlawson

Sorry this has been a couple of days coming, but it's been a bit hectic here in Tokyo with work and all.

Photographed this little critter a couple or three years ago, at a lovely little shrine in the Todoroki area of Tokyo. Loads of nature there and it's a regular tonic for me, balancing nicely the pace of the city.

Japanese long-horned meadow grasshopper climbing a flagpole. The insect is near the rope, which is wrapped around the pole. The shot has a very shallow depth of focus and there is beautiful smooth bokeh in the background.

@alfiegoodrich Nice! What is that, a cricket of some sort? I have a huge collection of bug photos, used to love my macro photography. And lovely bokeh!
