i kinda hate that the fediverse software that is probably the fastest and most suitable for cheap cloud servers/home hardware has earned a bad reputation for regularly being used by chuds  @bclindner To be honest I have a feeling its suitability for low end devices is probably at least a little bit overhyped. At the end of the day it uses PostgreSQL too. I’ve encountered Pleroma pages that take more than 30 seconds to render. Not sure how valuable it is to be able to run something on low end devices if that’s how it runs. riot (the chat service) rebranded to element and their website now has a weirdly venture capital funk to it hi yes sql(ite) question: what's the most fucked up intensive thing i can do to a SELECT query, something that i could do in, say, a search bar, that would probably make it run for longer look that webshit startup isnt gonna make a desktop version, it's going to be an electron app, just cut out the middleman |
