I've been having a thought about how to give more tools to people who are enthusiastic about #mastodon and growing their #communities but do it in a way that is #federated.
One idea I'm playing with is the physical space #flyer, with little removable cut off strips which you see often in student digs and laundromats. (see image for example flyer)
This type of flyer would be a template and a simple website would allow you to enter in a bunch of details, replace the text with your own language, the specific instance you're linking to and the images with one that makes sense for your instance.
Imagine putting one up in your science lab lounge, or your football team pub, for instances about those things.
Technically the website would produce a pdf using inkscape. #details
