i recommend that people having accounts there migrate away from tenforward if they're able, because it's clear the dude treats the server as his fief, and the users there will lose contacts and will suffer from severed connections every time he gets into beef with someone.

when you're an instance admin, you might want to not fantasise about you buying an ak-47 and then personally shooting someone's in the head from it, no matter how justified you think it would be.

first, it might be actionable in some jurisdictions, second, you might put your users to some risk because someone might associate them with you.

also, don't write paeans to the “people's gun”, a canadian sysadmin cosplaying a staunch stalinist in the common era year 2024 looks just very sad.
