Trans Twitch streamer conducted an experiment over a 7 month time. She created three accounts, one where she was visibly trans, one where she pretended to be a cis woman, and one where she pretended to be a cis femboy.

Guess which account got the most attention.

I streamed for a long time and went through my whole transition while streaming, which meant a lot of awkward streams. I consistently got the same 1-3 viewers the whole time. To be fair, I didn't do that much promotion. On occasion, people would turn up because I was playing a popular game, but they rarely hung around. I have to just take it as a hobby. I'm on break now because of adjusting to the new job, but I might return to it someday. Breaking 10 viewers actually talking would be mind-blowing.
