Just don't do an opt out thing in the fedi. I know it is technically possible, but too many came here to avoid that and the cost of the social friction isn't worth it.

Just learn about consent. It might help you in the rest of your life too.

Does anyone have a good way of separating state from config in emacs? I've got a number of things like org-roam dbs and mastodon logins that are state rather than config so I'd like to keep them outside of my config. Do I just need to do a bunch of setqs? #emacs #nix #guix

Who out there has good #guix and guix-home configs that I could steal ideas from?

Esp if you run the latest linux kernel and lots of emacs packages (I think I've got the clojure/java stuff figured out from before).

I learn best from concrete examples going outward and I've been struggling with the few things that don't quite work for me.
