#Kdenlive 24.05 is out with a huge performance boost and the usual batch of quality of life, user interface and usability improvements.  @kdenlive how do nested timelines work? I don't really get it. When I select some items on the timeline then Create Sequence from Selection it does nothing. And additionally I can't drag and drop items from Project Bin to the timeline anymore on X11 Don't tell anyone but next release will come with the Whisper speech recognition system for generating subtitles.

@kdenlive KDE is an awesome company. I just wish you guys would spend just a little bit more time trying to get Falcon working better. It's 'almost' a great browser. Don't you guys realize there's a HUGE void in the browser market? Like, you guys could take over. We'll with Linux users anyway. Make more movies 🎥 with the new Kdenlive 22.12! It comes with more features for guides and markers, better integration with Glaxnimate, a whole range of improvements to the user interface, and much, much more.

  #Kdenlive comes with some out of the box render presets. But power users can create their own custom profiles by creating new presets. I only do the *most* trivial video editing so far, but recently iMovie update downloads started hanging and preventing me from downloading any Mac App Store apps—so kdenlive saved me from that. Even something as small as “can be downloaded without breaking entire computer” can be enough of a value proposition 😃 |
