It is always sad when a long-term contributor retires. 😢 We wish to say a huge "thank you" 💌 to @prokoudine for his many years of involvement with GIMP, helping its community, contributing to translations, bug reports, news, discussions… He is a part of the people who shaped GIMP to what it is now. 🌻 Even the transition of the managed social accounts went smoothly! Hello World! GIMP project now gets a new official Mastodon account! 🥳 We can see the info leaked somehow (we had not announced it and already got 150+ followers in 2 days) 😂. @GIMP Spent quite a bit of time working with GIMP this evening. It's taken some time to learn, but it's been well worth it. I find it GIMP to be a powerful and useful raster graphics editor.
