We’ve just published builds of the first release candidate for FreeCAD 1.0. You can download them here.
So far, we’ve enjoyed the contributions of users who are happy to be living on the edge with our weekly builds and reporting whatever bugs they run into. That really helped us make the proverbial edge less edgy.

@FreeCAD I’ll be back to running test builds on arch tonight, got hung up last week when my internet refused to go over 22mbps and I had to reclone the repo overnight…. Like it was the 90s or something
FreeCAD Hackathon Goals
On the weekend of 11-13 August, 2023, the FPA is hosting the first ever FreeCAD Hackathon. The in-person event is being held at The Garden Strathcona in Vancouver, BC, and we hope to be joined by many virtual attendees across the world helping us work on a few specific FreeCAD projects.
