v0.7.2 of doldrusidus sees a rewrite of the default ship program from uxntal to C and adds particle effects.

Hives are ancient structures buzzing with calculated self-replication. Wasps are a non-sentient form of machine life residing in hives. Leviathans are creatures of the void exhibiting deep-space gigantism.

In the demo, I release a pack of leviathans near a hive.

v0.5.3 of doldrusidus adds monoliths that hold secret texts, which can be deciphered one character at a time.

In the demo below, I speed up "deciphering" with a tandem of machines to accumulate machine instructions for the monolith faster. The secret is slowly revealed in the top-right window.

The next version of doldrusidus, a pocket universe simulator for #uxn machines, v0.4.1, is now released.

Proquints are now supported in a few places, and the interface shows you more information about the world (seconds since epoch, camera position, entity properties).

I've just pushed a new version of doldrusidus, a universe engine where #uxn machines are your hands and eyes in the world.

It has a graphical interface now, and the version number got bumped to 0.4 to celebrate that!

After many months in the works, I'm releasing doldrusidus, an obscure multiplayer simulation for a universe where spaceships run #uxn code.

It's in an early state, but a lot of the infrastructure is already there. If you would like to try it out but have got stuck somewhere, feel free to ask for help!

Flying #uxn ships with controllers just became possible in my engine!

The client cross-maps the keyb. and contr. inputs, so you can emulate the latter with the former, and vice versa. The input deltas are aggregated and sent to the server, which pushes it to the event buffer of the cpu (which ran @100Hz).

In the demo, I switch to controller mode from normal (NOR -> CON on the input prompt), and raise my x/y coordinates with the left stick, and finally my z coordinate with the right trigger.
