SelfPrivacy

Hello, this is SelfPrivacy team.

We wrote an app which helps one to get rid of Google Drive and gmail and some other big tech.
It makes setting up your own services easy, and we think it is easier than Yunohost.

SelfPrivacy works from your phone or desktop. You register with a server provider of your choice, then you put server credentials in the app and it works for 25 minutes setting things up for you.

Currently included: E-Mail, Nextcloud (google drive-like), Git forge (Forgejo), Bitwarden (password manager) and some others.

If you add some storage cloud, application can do encrypted back-ups of those services, too.

Your servers are your own and the app has no telemetry. We only wrote code so you don't have to do it by hand, and this code is open.

We think that privacy should not be a privilege of tech-savvy people and hopefully this helps someone who struggles with other privacy tools.

A simple banner. SelfPrivacy logo on top, two app screenshots on the right, and a text on the left, saying "Hiding complexity of server installation and management
in the form of a mobile app
to make self-hosting more accessible".
One screenshot demonstrates a list of services installed on a server: Bitwarden, Forgejo, Mail srever, Nextcloud. Other screenshot shows a screen about Nextcloud, showing its status and there are buttons to open it, restart it, disable it, change its settings or move it to another volume. There are also buttons to view its backups snapshots and logs.

@selfprivacy I don't see this explicitly stated on your website; does your server application handle updates of Nextcloud and other services?
