The final #XoXo was a great experience. Sad to see it go. (There is a great opportunity for somebody to pick up the torch!! I would come.) Most surprising, and gratifying for myself: about half of the people I mentioned it to had heard of #FediForum. The word must be spreading!! To state the blindingly obvious here, the new Social Media Lab at Harvard's Berkman Klein center really needs to have "follow" options other than Twitter and Instagram.   @j12t Very few people *really* understand CSS... I love it, but it can be a lot, especially for high end use cases. The ramp from obvious to wtf is incredibly short. Glad I brought my sweater. And there are sometimes some wet drops that fall out of the sky. I don't know what exactly triggers it, but it works more often than not, and it soooo beats doing an brief ssh connection (which, with a firewall, takes a bit of work to set up) or, heavens forbid, a USB stick.
