Firefox gets the bulk of it's funding through Google, so *maybe* Google has been blocking certain privacy features. With their own source of ad revenue, Firefox can do what it wants.
But this puts Firefox's stated mission in conflict with its own revenue model. I expect Anonym to give up and switch to being another Google Ad Services eventually.
