@workchronicles people in factories working at production lines knew, that working faster and making products in less time results in the level of 100% achievement increasing with the additional productivity. Therefore they never got paid for the extra mile they went.

So, they kept their productivity level at an usually achievable level and were not amused, if new workers started raising the bar again
