Not having Roger Corman around is like losing an element of the periodic table. As important to culture as oxygen, carbon, and Bill Gaines. Time spent watching his movies is not subtracted from your lifespan but added to it 2x over. Rest In Power variety.com/2024/film/news/rog

@quartzcity @annaleen Ah, but we do still have him around. If he is like oxygen, then we now have minerals such as ice, hematite, turquoise, malachite and innumerable others.

From Corman we have been gifted with James Cameron, Jack Nicholson, Diane Ladd, Joe Dante, and so many more, and he helped bring Kurosawa and Bergman, and more to the U.S.

Corman is a treasure, surely, but he also set up his legacy well to span generations.

98 Years is a very good run for anyone, but especially this man.
