fascinating new scam going around for roundcube webmail admins; beware!!
if you use roundcube, chances are that bots have already been flooding your login page with attempts (this has already happened to me many times in the past, resulting in the service being blocked by my mail server).
assuming you use good passwords, this can be somewhat ignored. lately, i've now started receiving scam emails masquerading as system notifications (i don't use cpanel, and i receive notifications directly from email providers when my emails bounce!)
clicking the button will direct you to a fake login page (note; NOT on the domain where roundcube is actually set up) prompting you to log in. DO NOT DO THIS. THEY WILL STEAL YOUR CREDENTIALS. report the domain to its registrar so it can be terminated, and go on with your day.

it's crazy how 90% of my dives into twitter end in "oh, that person is just a huge asshole. okay" followed by me blocking that person and abandoning the thread because it left a bad taste in my mouth.
i always find it jarring when people tell me they prefer twitter over fedi. are we talking about the same platform?? yeah we've got some annoying folks here and there on fedi, but good grief the twitter mentality is a fckn flip-flop between just fellas hanging out, and someone pushing the cruelest, most hateful garbage you've seen today
and blocking doesn't even do anything there, really. sure you've pushed that one (1) person out of your feed, but the algorithm adores hateful messaging (to say nothing of the asshole who owns the place), so you're bound to pick up on something even more vile within mere minutes.

i've had people tell me "you just gotta curate the feed; my timeline is fine!"
no. i don't believe you.
i've seen you panic scroll past something the moment it appeared the slightest bit distasteful. that's reflexive. you've trained your brain to avoid the toxic sludge like it's a predator in the wild. impressive! and horrifying. you should NOT need to do that just to get some peace of mind online.
