is anyone aware of any company, anywhere, ever suffering any repercussions for violating the GPL? The most I can see is the Busybox lawsuits, which resulted in meaninglessly-small penalty payments, and the FSF vs Cisco case, which also resulted in nothing that even slowed Cisco down.

I guess what I'm wondering is: what is the actual reason not to just ignore the GPL until you get caught, then pay paltry sums to various nerd bureaucracies and keep truckin'

I'm glad to announce the release of version 2.53 of #snac, the simple, minimalistic #ActivityPub instance server written in C. It includes the following changes:

New user feature to search by post content (using regular expressions) or tag.

Added some (partial) support for Event object types.

Minor fixes: Allow unboosting your own posts (contributed by khm), CSS fixes for the Dillo browser (contributed by kvibber).

@quartzcity @annaleen Ah, but we do still have him around. If he is like oxygen, then we now have minerals such as ice, hematite, turquoise, malachite and innumerable others.

From Corman we have been gifted with James Cameron, Jack Nicholson, Diane Ladd, Joe Dante, and so many more, and he helped bring Kurosawa and Bergman, and more to the U.S.

Corman is a treasure, surely, but he also set up his legacy well to span generations.

98 Years is a very good run for anyone, but especially this man.

- Ext2srv has been replaced by Ext4srv. Thanks sigrid!
- We are now able to handle more USB audio, even ones that do not offer standard 44.1kHz sample rate. (Sigrid!)
- We got DNS over TLS support. Thanks moody!
- WiFi support for Raspberry PI ported from Richard Miller as well as I2C support and improved UART support for MT7688. Thanks adventuresin9!
- Vdiff, a graphical diff viewer got added! Thanks phil9!

Warning:
The behaviour of the IP stack has changed in this release. Routes now bound to an interface and will get removed when the interface goes away. And it is illegal to add routes that cannot be assigned to an interface.
