A senior, tortie cat is lounging on a white towel with her head, in profile, looking to the right. Her two front paws are relaxed and crossed to her side, though I have no idea which is her left and right! Most of the rest of her body is not in the photo. Though the fur on her head, face and cheeks are somewhat thinned out, she still is very fluffy! Her colors are multiple shades of brown and a little white that has aged to gray, here and there. She has one prominent white whisker while the others fade in with the rest of her.

During the past month of heatwaves, even Pippin was too hot to sleep in the sun. But now that’s it’s a “frosty” 85 degrees, it’s right back to whatever patch of sun she can find. 🤣

Pippin will be 17 this fall. In that time she’s never blepped long enough for me to get a photo. She claims bleps are undignified, unsightly, and unworthy of a single #Caturday post, and that she would never be caught in the act of one.

An elder tortie cat is sitting (like a human) on a stack of newspapers atop a wooden chest.
