I swear this cat can fade into the background like #GrannyWeatherwax and become completely invisible. Been actively looking for her several times in the past hour or so and only found her when she opened her eyes. Sometimes the kittens sit right next to her without even realising she is there.

A rare sight: #AnnabelleCat is a crazy happy kitten, always zipping around, talking a lot, hopping onto the shoulders of her humans and rubbing her cheek against our ears. This lazy sunday cuddle will not last long I suppose 😽

#GinnyCat makes use of a pause between showers to go to the garden.
She has gained a little weight lately. That's because she considers the more nourishing kitten food tastier than her own. She's not fat in an unhealthy way, so that's ok.

#GinnyCat would never concede it but the kittens do her good: she follows her curiosity much more openly and keeps a much shorter distance from us humans. That's because every day she witnesses Arielle & Annabelle play with us, get touched by us, even climb us – and not even once we hurt or killed them.
Ginny still needs time on her own though, and she doesn't allow the girls to come close.
We've been patient for more than a year so we won't hurry now. Take your time, luv 😽

#GinnyCat and I kept a secret from you: just before christmas we adopted a pair of kittens to give her some feline company. For now they live upstairs and only pay supervised visits to her.
First Ginny was very sceptical. But she starts to relax around them and has even learnt from them how to explore her surroundings more boldly. Plus she seems to trust us humans a little more (though no touching allowed yet).

Annabelle and Arielle are five months old now. Just as Ginny they come from the shelter.
Annabelle talks a lot and loves to climb onto humans (and everywhere else). She needs a lot of cuddling.
Whenever Arielle is not sleeping under the blanket she runs first and starts thinking later. That already earned her some hisses from Ginny.
We try to introduce them in small doses so Ginny doesn't feel threatened and they have a good chance to become friends one day. It will take time though.
