TIL, Pleroma allows you to hide hashtags if you don't include them in the content of the message, but include them in the tags array in the AP message
a search for "#testing" that shows a message with the content "this is a test of hidden hashtags", that doesn't have the testing hashtag

i'm prefetcher (also known as nano), 20y/o CS student, gamedev et. al from Poland.
fan of 90-00s tech/internet, IDM & downtempo music, has an unhealthy obsession with adobe flash content (my archive is almost 20GB in size).
