I've seen the argument from those that mention "opt-in" in regards to Fediverse bridges that they didn't consent to having their posts on other platforms....

Isn't that what the heck we're here for?!? At least a good bit of us...It's how the platform was designed to be.

There are MANY other platforms which have that closed space you're looking for.

If you're discriminating against millions of users based on not using the same platform, Fediverse is definitely not for you.

So, I might be dabbling in AI more soon.

Downloaded some local AI art models to run on my 3090 Super, which hopefully will give me interesting results.

However, beyond ChatGPT, I've not messed with text generation much.

Can anyone that's knowledgeable in this area point me in the right direction for a good webUI and some models to go with it?

@BeAware LLM studio is interesting fwiw. also I just publish custom prompts and datasets right from the azure AI studio playground.

There's 20,000+ instances and new ones every day, there's NO WAY to tell who is accessing your posts or what they're doing with them.

Fediverse is not some kinda "bastion for privacy" nor is there any sort of "consent" required to see your posts if they are public.

The only way you can be 100% sure that your followers are the only ones that directly see your posts is to make your profile and posts private. Even then, screenshots exist.

Remember, you're on the internet. Once you post it, it's probably not going away. This is true everywhere.
