@FranckLeroy bitcrap sure sucks, and is totally useless. So is "blockchain" which doesn't solve any problem that can't be solved in better ways using other tools. No matter what it fanboys says But I highly doubt US killers' carbon footprint is actually that "low", given all the stuff¹ they use to cause pain and destruction… 1. The energy to build, including replacements, and to use vehicles, ships, flying-computers (aircraft, drones…), electronics devices, all kind of weapons… @vruz Yeah sure… marketing tracking spyware and other planet-destroying crap for capitalists to make more money, mass surveillance technology for states or for companies against workers and unions, all the "predictive" IA crap full of racist bias, weapons, computer-asssited weapons to kill more people faster… are all "neutral". Not sure if you're a troll or a just plain idiot… Qu'est que Mastodon fais chier à reconvertir en mp3 à partis d'un fichier OGG Vorbis… Ça n'a absolument aucun sens de recompresser un truc déjà compressé, et en plus vers un format moins efficace aussi bien pour de l'espace que par dans qualité… Du coup y a même pas l'excuse de « c'est pour gagner de la place ». J'allais non plus uploader du FLAC… |
