Since returning to America after several years abroad, it has been continuously apparent how brittle society has become at nearly every level: social, commercial, legal. This article let me look at it a different way—the effects of undervaluing care.

Until the end of the article where it stated this happened in the UK, I thought it happened in the United States. The same pressures are put on workers here. Police are used as blunt enforcement tools here too.
It’s important that the stories are told. White people must understand this happens to all of us, not just POC & poor folks. #Solidarity Always resist. Always stand up for each other. This absolutely makes a difference.
