Why is my other Twitter account getting random follows from accounts which have all of this in common:
- a few thousand subscriptions, a few hundred subscribers
- bio says they are an artist, zero art posted
- stolen art on avatar and banner
- non unique names or nothing shows up when googling them
- actively likes and retweets furry art.

@Sominemo I assume those are scammers. Following you and others or getting followed back might make them 'adjacent' enough to their victim demographic to be suggested by Twitter.

@Qazm Good theory, I think this is very probable too.

It's some relatively long time existing accounts that don't seem to unfollow you themselves. One of them had *a few* comments suggesting their graphic designer services, but there were just a few sporadic comments like that.

It's just interesting that I just had to remove 5 accounts like that, which followed me in the past few months (I don't get a lot of following there so it's a noticeable chunk of people).

Gauss but cheesy @ PCD

@Sominemo They are obviously real people, as our brilliant Elon has eradicated all bots on the platform years ago /s

They're probably bots, and potentially scammers tbh
