Gregory's Server@johncarlosbaez This kind of stuff used to really excite me before our recent leaders decided that human civilization should end in 7 generations or so. So what’s the point of acquiring more knowledge now? Let’s just spend our time and money mitigating the suffering that is coming.

 @jw4ke - I used to work on quantum gravity and particle physics. Now I'm trying to work on epidemiology and carbon emissions, since I don't feel I have luxury to whatever I enjoy. |
