@gregeganSF - I wonder what will spell the end of LISA. The satellites do need propellant to stay on course. The proof-of-concept mission LISA Pathfinder used "micronewton thrusters" that shot out cold gas. @johncarlosbaez @gregeganSF Spacecraft engineers have a tendency to do such a good job that their consumables often get stretched by factors of 2 or more! |
