@aronow I've been opting to relate mastodon to a Twitter styled discord/teams but you can see other server posts through a channel. Seems to work with those of us too young remember when email services were not interconnected. @jforjarrod @aronow No surprise, since you’ve got attempted HTML tags and “Techie” in your bio. @aronow I usually say it's like Xitter but without central control. Might compare to personal blogs vs. Facebook, depending on the audience. Even people much older than me seem to get the idea of being connected without all being under one roof, like a walkable neighborhood.
