For people who don't get what this screencast is, it means non-destructive editing will be in GIMP 3.0! 🥳

Nice, non-destructive editing can be a real game changer, although other software should learn how to read this new information, I guess... :flan_think:

@freezr @zemarmot @GIMP You'll be able to export the "flattened" image in all supported formats. One of the next steps will be using this feature to load/export PSD layer effects.

By the way, you want to thank @CmykStudent for their work on this, as well as Jacob Boerema for his help in the review and everyone else who participated in tracker or IRC.

It's also thanks to all past developers (a lot mitch, my co-maintainer) making this cherry-on-the-top possible, and of course to @pippin for the incredible work on GEGL, GIMP's backend for graph-based raster editing.

GIMP is not dwarfs standing on the shoulders of giants, but a lot of dwarfs helping each others! 💌

@bitpirate @zemarmot Done: gitlab.gnome.org/Infrastructur

(our testing website will have the update automatically soon, but we won't likely update the main website for a few days, so no need to refresh to see this update now 😜)
