So Brian (16 years old) has hyperthyroidism. Apparently it affects a lot of older cats and can be controlled with a drug that they take for the rest of their lives.
I have a medical card, so a month's supply of any particular med for me costs €1.50.
A month's meds for the poxy cat costs over €50.
Wonder if I can convince my GP I have hyperthyroidism and then give the meds to the cat?
