Winchester Drive: A spacecraft engine that keeps accelerating as long as the crew keeps adding rooms. @tubetime I thought it was the H shell that was the width of the B but half the height. @tubetime j'ai bon? 😁 @tubetime Since they cut down on one row of pins, maybe we should cut down on the designation letters and just call it the D-15 connector? Giles, actually I don't think 1-pin connectors are a thing at all. You need at least 2 pins to do something useful because there has to be a ground connection. @grishka @gilesgoat @tubetime If it's slow enough you can use the earth ground for that. See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Earth-return_telegraph (I'm not suggesting this as a recommended solution, but as an interesting tidbit!) There's something wrong with my Mastodon client. It says this was posted by @tubetime when it was clearly posted by @NanoRaptor 😀 |

Thought it was a #steampunk bracelet at first!
