Gregory's Server@gamingonlinux Wonder why they don't work with Valve and actually use SteamOS? Maybe SteamOS isn't ready for other devices, or they'd need to fund the porting (which is probably done by 3rd party contractors anyway)?

  @popey And you have to think, and you'll know this well, supporting a whole distro is a huuuge undertaking, and Valve is actually in terms of people relatively small considering their monies @gamingonlinux @popey Plus the Steam Machine experience has probably made them reticent to work with other OEMs. |
@popey I imagine SteamOS simply isn't ready yet, as it's so heavily tied to the Deck hardware, and Valve said only recently it's high on the list but people available for it were working on the OLED
