Why do these updates never seem to automatically show up in the list of updates in the App Store?

Is it something to do with the timing of when my phone checks on updates, and your announcements being out of sync?

Or is it some weird thing about apps with subscriptions that you have to seek out the update on your own?

@Chancerubbage We always set updates to roll out slowly over a week. That way if there's a huge bug we don't want everyone to get, we can stop the release, fix it, and then release again. But users who follow us probably want to get updates ASAP so we like to announce them here if you want to download right away. ๐Ÿ™‚

@ivory okay, so itโ€™s a rolling roll out thing. That makes sense.

And if I missed this announcement, it would show up in the automatically loaded update queue in a few days anyway.
