I do struggle with understanding the American mindset on nudity as per your latest article.

Having someone be a person and talk online whilst they may or may not be wearing clothes is a problem for a website whereas a child typing the Roman numerals for 16 into the address bar will see things that are pretty dehumanising in short clips of action and heavily focused on incest. (Who is driving that weirdness?)

@Daojoan I feel something similar to sexual interests topic, I mean I do not wanna to talk about it because have some thoughts I think it is my privacy, but for when we talk about family we talk about sex(and maybe kids)

@VVitchy @Daojoan I'll never get over just how much influence republicans/conservatives still have over america. That whole identity politics thing? Literally manipulated/shaped the vast majority of american minds.

Along with their definitions of what is and isn't "politics". It's crazy. Laws have always determined who lives and who dies. Who is allowed to attack whom. And who gets attacked. It's always been that too.

But somehow they've been able to convince people that targeted groups are..playing the race card, doin a identity politics and/or are jamming politics down people's throats.

It just...is unreal how even today the very concept of self preservation is seen as a political stance. The i don't want to be murdered, left to die, have my rights taken away being seen as..being political.

And i'm talking liberals falling for it. Not republicans. People straight up avoid calling themselves feminists now. Avoid being labeled as social justice warrior, etc.

@VVitchy @Daojoan Republicans made self preservation for traditionally targeted groups a bad word. And a good 98% of america agreed.

One of the worst parts? You can have a white trans person calling blacklivesmatter a hate group. Women saying feminists are destroying america. Jewish and muslim people pushing against religous freedom for atheists/satanists.

With all of them collectively agreeing that identity politics is a bad thing somehow. Not only giving self preservation the finger. But helping to make sure all our lives are worse off. Even their own.

@Daojoan We've taken to saying "we're Asterisk or ✳️ or 42 and supported by several programming languages and regular expressions, punctual and found on the ASCII table." Just another ordinary hitchhiker, we suggested being added to LGBTQI+ as a new special character ✳️ but we're yet to be "appended" and as a unsupported special character on some information interchange tables it's akin to common alienation. 👨‍💻🤘 IMHO we should all be, Us.

@Daojoan On here, I follow quite a few transgender people. Not because of their trans status, but because they are interesting people.

I always think peoples gender and sexuality are irrelevant in terms of interactions with them. Unless I want to engage sexuality withthem, which I generally don't.

@Daojoan before they spent so much effort trying to murder and eradicate trans people I was just chilling in my cis-passing life, and the most trans thing you got out of me was the occasional "when I were a lad" joke around cis friends who knew.

Now I'm all pride colours, being very outwardly trans because fuck you all if you want to kill my siblings.
