@amoroso In the context of a UI discussion, I agree with the article. “The crown jewel of IDEs, in my opinion, were the later Borland Turbo." However, I used it for 2 classes, 8 months, lost access to it afterwards and was forced to abandon my projects with it (partly due to my ignorance). It provided me my first real lesson in portability, licensing, and the importance of owning the tools used. Never again for proprietary text editors.
