This is perfect timing. Just this morning I spent 20 minutes searching for an up to date download site that could handle a TikTok video embedded into a Reddit post. Just tried Cobalt and it just worked with a single click.

@SwiftOnSecurity @w if you want the same functionality without needing to go through a third party, https://github.com/yt-dlp/yt-dlp is your friend. It is able to download pretty much everything I ever threw at it.

Try Parabolic (GUI) or yt-dlp (CLI, Parabolic uses this on its backend).
Download sites always die in a couple of months, and downloads have to go through them so it's so much slower than using a local app with the same compatibility.
