@vama85 @ThePlant tbf I think we agree on principle but there is nuance - admins should be blocking directly hostile, illegal or otherwise severely badly acting instances for the protection of their own instance.
I don't see the argument that Threads fits into this though...

@mdiluz @vama85 fully agree on the first bit, but yeah, Threads really doesn't apply to that IMO
there's a difference between blocking based on illegal, hate etc to just blocking "because Meta"
