@dtelder @9eurosyltbesucher @SwiftOnSecurity probably conformal coating, that's normal @dtelder @9eurosyltbesucher @SwiftOnSecurity yeah, these days it's a thin spray, in the past they sometimes used a layer of epoxy. But it's for moisture (shorts), not preventing repairs @bigiain @dtelder @SwiftOnSecurity If you want to save a bunch of time, there are generic washing machine control boards available on aliexpress. @9eurosyltbesucher @bigiain @dtelder @SwiftOnSecurity I need more info on this. Our washing machin keeps flashing some error code. It'll run half the program, get an error. I push the button, it runs for a bit again, rinse and repeat (if you pardon the pun). Apart from that it seems fine. @thelovebing @bigiain @dtelder @SwiftOnSecurity this is a version for a frontloader for example https://youtu.be/x7UJUXwy-MY?si=FB2FCoBhNuPlOprv @9eurosyltbesucher @bigiain @dtelder @SwiftOnSecurity You are probably right. I'll check that. @9eurosyltbesucher @thelovebing @bigiain @SwiftOnSecurity @dtelder @thelovebing @bigiain @SwiftOnSecurity When E and a number or some letters are just to easy lol. @bigiain @9eurosyltbesucher @SwiftOnSecurity @9eurosyltbesucher I just had cause to open up my washing machine and the board is potted like half an inch deep so I might SEE such a problem but couldn't do much about it if I did. Does flux corrosion proceed with oxygen? |
@9eurosyltbesucher @SwiftOnSecurity my washing machine has the whole motherboard filled with some kind of resin. No way anyone can fix it.
