@zverik seems to be all about search and routing, applications not maps. Also no mention of cycle.travel which I think pretty much meets his cycling desiderata.
@SK53 yeah he notoriously ignores OpenStreetMap in all of his letters. I don't think he follows anything we do. Definitely some of his points have been available with OSM for years.
