To be fair, there is an option to host your own Signal server, making it at least semi-decentralized, as well as groups are possible, which may, or may not fall in everyone's definition of "social media".
@Fenrir @itsfoss in that case, yeah it is semi-decentralised, but group support doesn't mean it's social media(technically you can have groups in sms)
