I wasn't requesting developers to take on a bigger workload. I commented on the problems with Flatpak, and responded to your comment on Flatpak; short-term easiness is not the same long-term sustainability. A temporary workaround is often a useful step towards a long-term sustainable software package: it's a proof of concept. Fractal 5 does sound like a good achievement :). If people like it, they can work on the dependencies and eventually the package itself. |
