Only for the USA, Max first appeared on screens in the UK in 1985 and a few days after the first tv movie... went on to present the Max Headroom show on the UK's Channel 4.

It wouldn't reach the US for more than 2yrs.

So Happy 38th birthday Max.

@anomnomnomaly @th Actually, this is different. This isn’t the show itself, but a mysterious broadcast that hijacked a local band in the middle of a Doctor Who rerun and played a guy in a Max Headroom mask for several minutes. No one knows how it was done out who did it or what it meant. You can see it on YouTube. It’s really creepy.
